Open Thesaurus Master® in your web browser with WebThes.
WebThes is a fully functional Thesaurus Master interface* delivered as a Java applet running inside any of the popular web browsers. WebThes allows you to share your thesaurus at someone else's office or with remote colleagues without installing the Thesaurus Master UI.
The interface requires a login for project, username, and password. That means that permissions can be granted by the project administrator. Allow as much ability to add, change, and delete terms as you wish—Read Only, Add Comments Only, Add Candidate Terms, Read/Write within a particular branch, Full Read/Write—all of these permission levels are available in WebThes.
Additions and changes made to your thesaurus are immediately reflected in WebThes, in both Thesaurus Overview and the Term Record panels.
WebThes runs on your web server — or we can host it on ours. It requires that the Data Harmony® server and your project be running on the web server or a machine on that server's network. We package it with the Enterprise (client-server) version of either Thesaurus Master or MAIstro. If you are a SaaS subscriber, we can set it up for you. Both WebThes and the ThesViewer are included with all Thesaurus Master and MAIstro software licenses at no extra charge.
* The standard version of WebThes has import, export, and print functions disabled to protect your intellectual property. All other Thesaurus Master functions are available.
