Cloud and SaaS Services
All of the software options from Data Harmony® are available both in Cloud and SaaS Applications. Access Innovations offers information, training, and taxonomy management tools online either through the cloud using your browser or via Software as a Service (SaaS). Both of these options are available via subscription.
Cloud Services
In the Cloud option you are able to easily share and collaborate with anyone who has an internet browser making the data widely and easily available. Access Innovations provides security layers by password and username, levels of access, etc. All nine levels of security are available. The Software as a Service model requires a client to be installed on the user desktop to access the system. While still allowing all the collaboration and sharing of the Cloud option SaaS imposes an additional level of security in that without the client module one cannot access the system over the web.
Software as a Service (SaaS) Version of MAIstro
MAIstro, Data Harmony's integrated combination of Thesaurus Master® and M.A.I.™ (Machine Aided Indexer), is now available on a subscription basis.
Access Innovations will host clients' controlled vocabulary project(s) on its server. The MAIstro client can run on any computer operating system that hosts Java (Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Solaris, etc.)
Enabling Global Collaboration for Taxonomy Management
To augment the ready access to build, modify, and manage a taxonomy and rule base, a thesaurus viewer is available (in seven different views) for sharing the vocabulary with others.
Data Harmony's traditional client-server license is still available for clients wishing to run the Data Harmony engine on their own production server; however, the SaaS license eliminates the need for that server and the IT maintenance it requires.
Simple, Precise, and Fast Document Indexing
M.A.I. (Machine Aided Indexer), is an automatic document indexing software tool that can be enabled via a web services call. It can be integrated into an organization's workflow, where most effective, to add subject term metadata to documents, articles, and other content. M.A.I. can also be used with an authority file of proper names to identify and attach other types of metadata to existing content.
Alternatively, Access Innovations can do the processing of electronic collections for you. Access Innovations also offers thesaurus building, pre-built taxonomies, and other editorial services.
