The new features included in the 3.4 release are below with short descriptions. A full description can be found in the revised documentation.

  • Windows Launcher – Makes the behind the scenes process invisible and will not take up space on your task bar
  • Intro Frame with dropdown list of all projects on a specific server – For fewer post-it note cheat sheets. These combined listings show available thesauri, rule bases, and projects in a dropdown list.
  • Admin module alphabetized projects list – Easier to find your project on the list
  • XIS can be customized to allow multiple rule bases.
  • TM Export – File extension assigned automatically
  • Visible Text Field – Displays Term Record notes that are always visible
  • Right Click Menu – Thesaurus Master and MAI menu options grouped by functionality
  • Rule Base Export – XML file format
  • Thesaurus Update Report – Provides a summary and specifics on terms added, deleted, and changed
  • Font driver plug-in capability
  • Multilingual display for thesauri with the top level duplicated in other languages

There are now two versions of the Data Harmony Software.

  1. Data Harmony™ 3.4.1 Professional Edition Fully supports ISO 8859-1 character encoding, which covers most characters, including diacriticals used in Western Europe and the Americas.
  2. Data Harmony™ 3.5.1 International Edition Provides full Unicode support, UTF-8, Multiple language support, Multilingual display
